 MQQNEYES was elected by the 2011 SEMA Hot Rod Industry Alliance for the “HRIA Business of the Year Award”. Report by Chico Kodama We last talked about Chico’s 27 Roadster back in October of last year. Since then he’s been working on it after hours whenever he gets a chance. This is Chico’s project for Bonneville. We re-visited his part of the shop to see the progress on his car. He had some recent help from our friend Juan who has some experience in molding fiberglass and they have been concentrating on the cockpit area around the roll cage. Chico had started to build race car for Bonneville. First draw chassis on the floor, then line up square pipe to make base for chassis. Here, there is no blue print. Everything in Chico’ head and three line on floor. Chico plans to break BNI, Modified Roadster "F" Class . . . I was elected as HRIA (Hot Rod Industry Alliance) committee member and had to attend a meeting at Goodguys Nationals in Columbus Ohio, so I decided to drive our Chevy HHR and show off our new Speed Master wheels.
