MOONEYES Exhibit at NHRA Museum

This being our first news update of the year, Happy New Year to everyone!
With all the excitement starting to boil about GNRS in a few weeks, we have a very special announcement, if you have not already heard…
(recent 1/23 information posted here)

The news is already circulating in publications from local free papers to international magazines. MOONEYES will be a featured exhibit on display for a limited time at the Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum starting January 27 (Saturday). It’s the same day the Grand National Roadster Show (GNRS) begins and is just next door. In fact, the museum has special extended hours to accommodate show goers so it’s perfect to go and check out both.

Dean Moon & MOONEYES is being celebrated in a very special way! The exhibit will run for a limited time at the museum and features tons of vintage photos and historic cars built or sponsored by MOONEYES from back in the day to recent times. Some of the cars will be the MOONEYES Streamliner, MOONEYES Dragster, the first officially sponsored by MOON dragster, legendary Bonneville race cars and much more.

MOONEYES began in the early ’50s by Dean Moon from the garage of his parents cafe in what is now known as Santa Fe Springs, Ca. He soon set up shop away from the cafe, on the same location where it is located today.
